Matteo Hu is founder and CEO of C Capital, an Italian business group that builds and develops scalable businesses in the restaurant industry. The group's best-known project is Brunch Republic, an all-day brunch chain founded in 2016 in Mestre and now boasting 21 open venues, with a further 20 openings already scheduled by the end of 2027, selected among the Food Service Top 30 Franchising. His approach is that of an investor and group builder rather than a franchise operator: acquiring or creating companies to keep them for the long term, working on people, processes and margins. He is the author of “Imprenditore Seriale” (Engage Editore, 2023), in which he recounts his entrepreneurial journey.
