Gilberto Mascolo is an entrepreneur in the hospitality sector and owner of the Grand Hotel Flora in Sorrento, a family-run establishment that he is guiding on an important path of evolution and repositioning. After graduating in Law at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, he completed a Master in Tourism Economics (MET) at Bocconi and an Advanced Course in Hotel Management at SDA Bocconi.
He gained professional experience in consultancy as a Junior Assistant at Forvis Mazars, in the Hospitality department, dealing with financial evaluation and analysis.
Today it is the protagonist of the transformation of the Grand Hotel Flora through a complete renovation signed by the architect Giuliano dell'Uva, with completion scheduled for April 2026, aiming at a new concept of design and lifestyle-driven hotellerie, contemporary and oriented towards an international audience. Its entrepreneurial vision looks to expansion with new hotels in Italy, maintaining a strong identity made of design, young energy and modern F&B proposals, while respecting the tradition and authenticity of the territories.
